The specific input should be determined by the number of swimmers in the water, the weather conditions and the turbidity of the water. Polyferric sulfate is used to flocculate and precipitate. The purpose of flocculation process is to change the existing properties and state of clay, bacteria and other suspended solids in the water, so as to facilitate the filtration and removal of subsequent processes.

Because the filtration capacity of the quartz sand in the filter tank is limited, in the swimming pool, there are many tiny pollutants with a diameter of only a few microns to more than ten microns, and the sweat, grease, cosmetics, microorganisms and organic matter secreted by human activities can cause water turbidity, which is difficult to remove by mechanical filtration. Therefore, in order to increase the filtration effect, it is generally necessary to add coagulant to the circulating water.

The coagulant forms colloid by chemical action such as ionization and hydrolysis in water, and then combines with impurities and organic colloids in water body to form larger particles through colloidal compression electric double layer action, adsorption electric neutralization, adsorption bridging action and precipitate net catching action, and then filters and removes them through quartz sand filter tank.
