Polyferric sulfate is a kind of inorganic polymer coagulant widely used in water purification. It plays a very important role in the treatment of drinking water, industrial water, various industrial wastewater, urban sewage and sludge dewatering. Only when polyferric sulfate is well preserved can it play a better role. How to preserve it?
How should PFS be preserved?
1. Polyferric sulfate can be preserved according to the requirements of oxidant. That is to say, it must not coexist with alkali, reducing agent, alcohol and inflammable substances, and must not be mixed for storage and transportation.
2. It should be stored in a cool, dry and well ventilated place, away from fire and heat source. At the same time, there should be a suitable storage area for leakage.
3. The requirement of solid Polyferric is not as high as that of liquid, so it is usually packed in woven bags without direct contact with air. The liquid polyferric chloride must be stable under acidic conditions, so it should be stored and transported in polyvinylic acid, lined with plastic barrel or stainless steel, FRP tank or tank car.
4. The shelf life of solid products is 6 months, while that of liquid products is 3 months. The shelf life of these two products are relatively long, so customers should buy according to their own needs, so as not to affect the use effect.
