Polyferric sulfate is a new type of water-cooled coagulant. It is an inorganic iron rich salt. It is a yellow powdery solid, easily soluble in water. The 10% (weight) solution is a reddish brown transparent solution, absorbing water. It has achieved remarkable results in drinking water production, wastewater treatment, phosphorus removal, struvite control and sludge treatment. It can be used for decolorization, dehydration, deodorization, deodorization, disinfection, removal of various heavy metals, radioactive substances and carcinogens in sewage, and elimination of COD and BOD.
1、 Principle of action
1. Bridging adsorption: the hydrolysate of PFS has excellent bridging adsorption for suspended solids in water.
2. Selective adsorption: PFS can selectively adsorb soluble substances.
3. Charge neutralization: PFS has a strong charge neutralization effect on colloidal substances in water.
2、 Product advantages
1. When the dosage of PFS is more than 200 * 10-5, the effect is better than that of aluminum sulfate.
2. PFS is better than other coagulants in purification, sedimentation, dehydration and deodorization.
3. Wide pH range 4 ~ 11, wide raw water temperature. After purification, the pH value and total alkalinity of raw water change little, and the corrosion to equipment is small.
4. The formation speed of alum flower is fast, and the alum body is relatively large.
5. The residual iron ion in water is small and non-toxic.
6. For COD, BOD, chroma and heavy metals have good removal effect.
7. Flocs (flocs) have strong binding ability with microorganisms, so they have good removal effect on plankton and other microorganisms.
