Polyferric sulfate, a new type of high-efficiency flocculant, can be used for the purification of urban and rural domestic water and industrial water with good water purification effect. Its flocculation characteristics can be summarized as follows:
1. Because of its alkalinity, it has great flocculating power;
2. The formation of flocs is fast and large, and the settling speed is fast;
3. PH has a wide range of adaptability;
4. Some heavy metal ions in wastewater can be removed effectively;
5. It has a good removal efficiency for c0d, chroma and oxadiazole in wastewater. The removal rate of c0d was in the order of PFS > fe3o3 > FeSO4 > PACl > aluminum sulfate. The order of decolorization rate was PFS > fe3o3 > FeSO4 > pao3 > al2so4;
6. It has good demulsification effect for emulsified oil in sewage;
7. The precipitate has good filtration performance;
8. When used, the pH value of the treated water is reduced and stable;
9. Generally, when the turbidity of raw water is above 30mg / L, PFS has obvious advantages, but when the turbidity is below 15mg / L, the effect is not good.
In addition, there are still some requirements in the specific application of PFS. For example, in the process of water purification, PFS is first mixed into a solution with a specific gravity of about 30%, and then it enters the treatment tank, which proves that it has better effect.
